Due to injuries on Lakewood’s team, the Reserves only played 1/2 of a game – 40 minutes. However, Warriors were able to score ten goals during that time! Way to go Watkins Warriors. Our foreign exchange student #33 Gonzalo Alejandre Perez scored a hat trick (3 goals) in the game, and so did #27 Ermia Ahmadi. #19 Suroj Ghalley scored two goals, one on a corner kick and the other assisted by #34 Brennan Parker. And, #38 Yogi Subedi also scored a goal. One more goal scored by the end of the half. It was a great night for the Warriors, showing a great offense tonight, with so many shots on goal. Warriors are in action again (after a holiday weekend to rest), on Thursday 9/5 vs our crosstown rival Licking Heights at home at 5pm, another LCL foe. Hope to see all you fans and families there to cheer on our Warriors. LET’S GOOOO!
